Job Description

We are currently recruiting Mathematics Teacher to join our School at Sonarpur, Kolkata, with good communication skills, resilient personality, preferably with at least 2-3 years of experience for CBSE School.

The candidate should have B. Ed, a solid understanding of the CBSE curriculum standards and have 2-3 years teaching experience from classes 5 - 7 in mathematics.

As a teacher you must also develop engaging and innovative lessons that allow our students to grow academically, socially and emotionally.

Job Responsibilities

Create daily lesson plans and learning activities for students based on the syllabus, and research and knowledge of developmental behaviors.

Deliver high-quality, engaging instruction in the form of discussion, demonstrations and independent practice using a variety of proven methods.

Evaluate student's performance on tasks established by the standards using different methods such as observation, performance-based tasks or other standard test practices.

Maintain a safe, orderly and supportive classroom by modelling expected behavior and standards.

Communicate with parents regarding student progress at parent and teacher meetings.

Improve skills and knowledge in teaching by regularly taking classes, attending workshops and discovering new methods of delivering exciting content to students.

Job Qualifications & Skills

Required:

• English Medium background
• B. Ed
• Masters / Bachelor's degree in Science.

Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing
