Overview
The Principal (Female)of a Corporate School is the chief executive and academic leader responsible for the overall management, administration, and strategic direction of the school. The Principal ensures academic excellence, operational efficiency, and the holistic development of students while fostering a positive and inclusive school culture. Preferably with experience in CBSE,ICSE and IGCSE schools.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership and Vision
Develop and implement the school's mission, vision, and strategic goals in alignment with the organization's objectives.
Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing school culture that supports innovation and excellence.
Provide leadership to faculty, staff, and students to achieve academic and extracurricular success.
2. Academic Oversight
Oversee curriculum development, instructional practices, and academic programs to ensure quality education.
Monitor student performance, assess learning outcomes, and implement strategies to address gaps.
Promote professional development for teachers and staff to enhance instructional effectiveness.
3. Administrative and Operational Management
Manage daily school operations, including scheduling, facilities, safety, and resource allocation.
Prepare and oversee the school's budget, ensuring financial accountability and efficient use of resources.
Ensure compliance with government regulations, accreditation standards, and corporate policies.
4. Student and Staff Development
Cultivate an environment that supports the holistic development of students, including academic, social, and emotional growth.
Recruit, train, and retain highly qualified teachers and staff, fostering their professional growth and motivation.
Evaluate teacher performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance teaching quality.
5. Community engagement
Act as the primary spokesperson and representative of the school to parents, the corporate community, and external organizations.
Build strong relationships with parents, alumni, and the broader community to promote the school's reputation and values.
Collaborate with corporate management to align school programs with the organization's objectives.
6. Policy and Governance
Develop, implement, and enforce school policies and procedures to ensure a safe and orderly learning environment.
Lead efforts to maintain and improve the school's accreditation status.
Prepare regular reports on school performance for the Board of Directors.
Qualifications and Skills
Education: Master's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum 8 -10 years of teaching experience with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role, preferably in a corporate or international school setting.
Skills:
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Expertise in curriculum development and instructional best practices.
Proficiency in school management software and tools.
Financial and organizational management skills.
