Key Responsibilities

:

Provide direct healthcare to students and staff (e.g., injury care, medication administration, chronic illness management). Maintain accurate health records (immunizations, allergies, health plans) in compliance with state laws. Develop individualized healthcare plans (IHPs/EHCPs) for students with special needs. Conduct vision, hearing, and scoliosis screenings as required. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and healthcare providers to address student health concerns. Train staff on emergency protocols (e.g., EpiPen use, CPR, diabetes care). Monitor and report communicable diseases to local health authorities. Promote health education (e.g., hygiene, nutrition, mental wellness).
