Position: Full Time, Residential

Job Summary: Our institution is seeking qualified and dedicated individuals to serve as Hostel Wardens for both boys and girls. The Hostel Warden plays a crucial role in providing a safe, nurturing, and conducive living environment for students residing in the hostels. The ideal candidates will be responsible for fostering a positive community atmosphere, ensuring the well-being of students, and maintaining a secure and disciplined environment within the hostels.

Hostel Warden Couples are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Residential Life Management:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the boys' and girls' hostels, ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment.
• Coordinate and conduct regular room checks to ensure compliance with rules and regulations.

2. Safety and Security:

• Ensure the safety and security of students within the hostel premises.
• Implement and enforce hostel rules and regulations, addressing any breaches promptly and appropriately.
• Be available and responsive in case of emergencies, providing immediate assistance and coordinating with relevant authorities.

3.Communication:

• Maintain open and effective communication with students, addressing their concerns and providing a supportive presence.
• Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
• Demonstrated empathy, understanding, and compassion in dealing with the diverse needs of students

4. Conflict Resolution:

• Address interpersonal conflicts among students with a fair and empathetic approach.
• Implement conflict resolution strategies and promote open communication within the hostel community.

5. Supervision and Monitoring:

• Conduct regular checks to ensure a clean, hygienic, and organized living environment.
• Monitor and manage hostel facilities, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Graduate Degree from any recognized University with at least 3 years teaching or administrative experience in schools/ Hostels in any recognized schools
• Bachelors degree in psychology is added advantage
• Knowledge Of POCSO and other children's safety-related Acts of Govt Of India - added advantage
