As a Preschool Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations and administrative functions of the preschool program. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the preschool, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children to learn and grow. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for early childhood education.
Responsibilities:
• Program Management:
• Oversee all aspects of the preschool program, including curriculum development, classroom activities, and special events.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to plan and implement age-appropriate learning activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Monitor the quality of instruction and provide guidance and support to teachers to enhance the overall learning experience for children.
• Administrative Duties:
• Manage enrollment processes, including student registration, enrollment forms, and tuition payments.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, health records, and emergency contact information.
• Coordinate parent communication, including newsletters, emails, and parent-teacher conferences.
• Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and accreditation requirements.
• Staff Supervision:
• Recruit, hire, and train teaching staff in accordance with program needs and regulatory guidelines.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support professional growth and development.
• Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, collaboration, and open communication among staff members.
• Parent and Community Engagement:
• Build strong relationships with parents and families through regular communication, parent education workshops, and family events.
• Qualifications:
• Previous experience working in a preschool or early childhood education setting, with a minimum of 2-3 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Knowledge of early childhood development principles, curriculum planning, and best practices in early childhood education.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with children, parents, staff, and community members.
