Key Responsibilities:Admissions Process Management:
• Application Review: Review and process student applications, ensuring all required documentation is received and evaluated.
• Interviews: Conduct interviews with prospective students and their families to assess their suitability and provide information about the school.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of applications, interviews, and admissions decisions.
Student and Family Support:
• Guidance: Provide guidance and support to prospective students and their families throughout the admissions process.
• Information: Answer inquiries about the school's programs, curriculum, extracurricular activities, and admissions requirements.
• Tours and Events: Organize and conduct campus tours, open houses, and informational sessions to showcase the school to prospective families.
Marketing and Promotion:
• Outreach: Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract potential students, including promotional materials, social media, and community outreach.
• Collaborations: Collaborate with local schools, community organizations, and educational consultants to promote the school's programs.
Application Review and Evaluation:
• Assessment: Evaluate applications based on academic records, test scores, interviews, and other relevant criteria.
• Decision-Making: Participate in decision-making processes regarding admissions, including making recommendations for acceptance or rejection.
Administrative Duties:
• Record-Keeping: Maintain up-to-date records of all admission-related activities, including application status, communications, and follow-ups.
• Reporting: Prepare reports and statistics on admissions trends, applicant demographics, and other relevant data.
Professional Development:
• Training: Stay current with trends in school admissions, education policies, and best practices through professional development and networking.
Collaboration:
• Teamwork: Work closely with other school staff, including academic advisors, faculty, and administrative personnel, to ensure a smooth admissions process.
• Feedback: Provide feedback to the school administration on the effectiveness of the admissions process and suggest improvements.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree or specialized certification in counseling or admissions is a plus.
• Experience: Prior experience in admissions, counseling, or customer service is preferred.
• Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure; proficiency in computer applications and data management.
• Knowledge: Understanding of educational programs and admissions procedures.
