Job Description


The Supply Chain (SC) Sourcing Specialist 5 is an entry level position responsible for assisting in procurement activities such as placing orders, receiving delivery and identifying comparable supplies and suppliers in coordination with the Corporate Services team. The overall objective of this role is to acquire goods and services requested by company personnel in support of the company's business.Responsibilities:

  • Support project team on global data/information analytics strategy and plan for procurement services, as well as deliverables related to the group strategy
  • Compile/consolidate supplier spend analytics, financial analytics, tracking/reporting, benchmarking, category market intelligence, diversity reporting, budget forecasting, and commodity segmentation efforts
  • Organize key market data, statistics, and reports to identify market trends and best practices
  • Aid with the production and generation of metrics to identify spends and baselines by region, business, and category
  • Assist in the preparations and analysis of bid packages, auction events, and formal request process replies, as well as develop reports and graphs/charts to illustrate saves or spending for targeted program
  • Consolidate information, perform ad hoc spend requests, program compliance monitoring reports, commodity reports and formal request process analysis, as well as assist business units on projects for expense policy compliance reporting and project data
  • Assist in data enrichment, source expansion, and standardization activities to maintain and improve quality
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience
  • Basic knowledge of the organization, business and its policies required
  • Proficient computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office applications
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Education:
  • Bachelors degree required
  • MS Office applications
