Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SAT English/Mathematics Tutor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in English/Mathematics and a proven track record of helping students excel in the SAT English/Mathematics section. The SAT English/Mathematics Tutor will be responsible for providing one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to high school students preparing for the SAT exam. The tutor will work closely with students to improve their reading, writing, and language skills, as well as their test-taking strategies. Responsibilities: 1. Conduct one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions for high school students preparing for the SAT English/Mathematics section. 2. Assess students\' strengths and weaknesses in English language skills and SAT-specific knowledge. 3. Develop customized study plans and strategies to address each student\'s individual needs. 4. Provide instruction and practice in critical reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary. 5. Administer and review practice SAT English/Mathematics tests to track student progress. 6. Motivate and support students in setting and achieving their SAT score goals. 7. Keep accurate records of student progress and attendance. 8. Communicate with students and their parents to provide feedback and updates on progress. 9. Stay current with changes in the SAT exam format and content. 10. Continuously improve teaching methods and materials. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor\'s degree in English/Mathematics , Education, or a related field. 2. Previous experience as an SAT English/Mathematics tutor or a high school English/Mathematics teacher. 3. Strong knowledge of the SAT English/Mathematics section and its scoring criteria. 4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 5. Patience and the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs. 6. A passion for helping students succeed and achieve their academic goals.
