Job descriptionThe Product Engineer is responsible to lead the development and implementation of new products, the moves of products from one supplier to another one and the improvement of existing products based on quality performances and customer expectations.Your OpportunityAt IKEA, we see things a little differently. QualificationTo be successful in this role, below competences are important for you.For this position holder it is important to know how to build and maintain business relations, having excellent communication skills, being a good team worker and empathetic, respecting values and being persistent. You are able to prioritize. Easy adaptation to changes and willingness to take responsibility is also necessary.

• A background in Textile engineering, quality and product/production development
• Preferably having an engineering education and at least 7-10 years of relevant working experience
• Good communicative skills and speak fluent English
• Preferred knowledge of product development tools
• Proactive approach
