What\xe2\x80\x99s the Role?

Full-time job to work with Exusia\'s global (Americas, Europe, Africa, Asia) clients to deliver on bleeding-edge data-driven solutions by performing business and data analysis, data modelling, data mapping and translating functional requirements into technical specifications. Work with Client Product Owners & Business SMEs, Exusia Solution Architects and Senior Application Designers/Developers.

Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Data Analyst and data engineer using the specified technologies

Master of Science (preferably in Computer and Information Sciences or Business Information Technology) or an Engineering degree in the above areas.

Experience working in an agile software delivery model is required.

Exposure to data analysis and data modelling preferably for DWH/Data marts

Self-motivated and proactive in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication, creative problem solver, flexible, proactive, attitude to learn newer tools/technologies

Responsibilities

Analyse and support DWH and reporting applications based on SAS/Oracle/Power BI

Requirement analysis and implementation of new functionality and carrying out enhancements for the DWH

Enhance or create new reports and dashboards

Data profiling and cleaning data for data analysis. Interpret data, analyse results, prepare data analysis reports.

Perform Data validation and testing to certify data

Collect, analyse and disseminate significant amounts of information to project team & business stakeholders.

Manage changing priorities during the software development lifecycle (SDLC)

Mandatory Skills

Strong understanding DWH and Analytics processes and able to support both data processing and reporting needs

Understanding of ER and Dimensional modelling and ability to maintain/enhance models as required

Oracle database knowledge

Strong SQL & PL/SQL skills

Experience in using SAS Data Integration Studio for data processing

Understanding existing SAS ETL /Oracle codebase and enhance/support the DWH

Strong modelling knowledge for building Power BI data models/data sets

Creating Power BI reports and dashboards

Managing Power BI gateway and workspaces

Data validation and testing using SQL or any tool-based testing methods

Nice to have skills

Exposure to scrum master or product owner role will be desirable

Knowledge of other data processing / ETL tools like Ab Initio

Exposure to one or more Cloud platforms \xe2\x80\x93 Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform

Experience with any other BI/Reporting tools like Cognos

Experience and knowledge of one or more domains \xe2\x80\x93 Banking & Financial services, Healthcare, Logistics & Telecom
