PracticeTechnologies AutomotiveLocation Remote working, IndiaType ContractNext Ventures are currently executing a search for an experienced SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM) Consultant who will provide guidance to the business on the appropriate use of the SAP TM system.For a European client i have been asked to supply an offshore Functional SAP TM resource for 6-12 months contract . The ideal consultant should be available to start work in 2-3 weeks time (full time contract) working on European time zones and should be able to give this client their full commitment -not a part time role or someone that is currently employed and looking to work for two clients simultaneously!!Must be a freelancer that is either immediately available or can start work in 1-2 weeks time.Requirements:

• At least 3 years of solid experience in SAP TM skills.

• 3 +years in Manufacturing/Warehouse/Logistics/Transportation operations roles.

• 3 years of demonstrable experience as Functional Consultant for a major IT program involving multiple teams and/or projects.

• SAP TM design, configuration, testing, and implementation experience - minimum of two full project life cycle SAP TM implementation.

• Should be familiar with material handling systems and how to integrate them to SAP TM solutions.
• Strong warehouse, distribution and transportation logistics business process knowledge and experience.

Transportation Management solution experience within S/4HANA is preferred and TM knowledge within the following:LSP Scenario is preferred
Forwarding Order Management
Freight Order Management incl, Carrier Communication, Tendering etc.
Transportation Planning including Package build, Routing etc.
Charge Management & Settlement
Import, Export scenarios.
Integration between TM & systems like SAP EM, EWM, EHS, GTS etc.Extensive knowledge of transportation management systems, SAP as well as a strong understanding of the interfaces between SAP and third party systems.
Responsible for successful delivery of SAP Transportation Management (TM) module deliverables on as part of implementation, upgrade, support projects
Preparation of Configuration document, Unit Test & Integration Test Scripts, User Manuals.
Configure the system as per the client's requirements.
Carry out the Unit & Integration testing & record the results in respective Test scripts.More information is available on applicationCV in word format
