Job Title: SAP Sales EDI Expert - DevOps Sales Support Reports To: Digital Lead Sales Role Type: Individual Contribution Location: Pune/Bangalore

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

We are currently seeking SAP Sales EDI Expert - DevOps Sales Support to join our team.

As a Sales Support member, you\'ll join an international team dedicated to the SAP SD module. This team serves as internal support for all SAP units worldwide where SAP has been implemented. At SKF, we leverage Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) extensively to streamline communication with a significant portion of our customer base. As we expand SAP implementation across more countries, our reliance on EDI is set to increase further. The majority of our engagements with key automotive and OEM clients are facilitated through EDI channels. This entails the electronic transmission of crucial documents such as orders, invoices, and Advance Shipping Notices (ASNs) between SKF and our valued customers. Our EDI framework is intricately woven into our Scheduling Agreements process, ensuring seamless integration and efficient operations. As part of our support team, you\'ll help take SKF\'s services to the next level by providing premium support to internal users. As a DevOps Sales Support member, your main focus will be on managing day-to-day operations and ensuring the quality of support services. This includes assisting users, maintaining applications, and handling daily support for our SAP Sales module. You\'ll also have opportunities to work on development and customization projects within SAP SD, offering room for growth and learning.

Key responsibilities

• Providing advanced SAP end user support to the user community i.e. answer process related questions and support in managing issues and incoming incidents (On a daily basis; receive, act on and dispatch IT Service Tickets/Incidents, primary working in the ServiceNow tool)
• Being the SKF IT Support Expert for EDI area (as well as scheduling agreements)
• Resolving reported issues and escalate to appropriate forum when necessary
• Being an active participant in various projects, developments and roll-out activities
• Take an active part in our development and deployments of EDI.
• Knowing and aligning with internal and external stakeholders and cover the end-to-end solution
• Performing improvement work, developing and documenting Best Practice, Service Catalogue and FAQ
• To facilitate and continuously improve the relationship between the key users/end users and the support team
• To manage and work closely with our EDI service provider(s) like Liaison & BES
• Provide SAP expertise and conduct fit/gap analyses to enable implementation of the template solution

Your profile
Qualifications and Experience:

• Overall, 7 plus years\xe2\x80\x99 experience
• 5+ years of experience in SAP SD.
• 5+ years of experience in EDI.
• 5+ years of experience in IDoc, EDIFACT, VDA, ANSI X12
• BS in Systems Analysis, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• Possesses the ability to analyze and comprehend business processes, coupled with critical thinking skills.
• Proven track record of working in complex environments, effectively managing uncertainty and challenges.
• Demonstrates a strong focus on objectives and a commitment to delivering within specified time and budget constraints.
• Active participation in various Sales, EDI, and Scheduling agreements projects
• Personal qualities include responsiveness, analytical thinking, structured approach, and a constructive mindset.
• Demonstrates confidence in stakeholder management.
• Fluent in English is a prerequisite.
• Good knowledge of SKF\xe2\x80\x99s business and existing IT environment is considered a merit.
• The position reports into SKF GDS with primary allocation to the SEP program.
