Job Description


Role Summary:Join my clients team as an SAP S/4HANA Finance and Tax Specialist, where you\'ll lead the design and deployment of critical financial and tax solutions. This role blends development and support responsibilities, offering you the chance to innovate and maintain essential systems across multiple regions.Key Responsibilities:

  • Innovative Solutions: Drive the design and implementation of SAP S/4HANA capabilities in General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, and Accounts Payables, as well as OneSource global tax solutions.
  • Cross-Functional Integration: Collaborate with business leaders, external consultants, and cross-functional teams to provide impactful technical solutions aligned with global templates.
  • Support and Maintenance: Manage and support General Ledger processes, resolve finance and tax issues, and ensure system integrity during upgrades and maintenance.
  • Testing and Validation: Develop and execute test scripts for integration and regression testing, and validate new functionalities.
  • User Engagement: Create user documentation and offer advisory support for SAP and non-SAP initiatives, ensuring seamless operations and continuous improvement.
Must-Have Skills and Experience:
  • Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Finance or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • SAP Expertise: Minimum 7-8 years of experience with SAP FICO, specializing in General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, and taxes.
  • OneSource Implementation: At least 5 years of experience implementing OneSource software within SAP S/4HANA environments.
  • Integration Skills: Experience in integrating SAP Order-to-Cash and Source-to-Pay with SAP FI, and preferred experience in integrating SAP Supply Chain processes.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the Medical Device or Life Sciences industry is preferred.
  • Tax Knowledge: In-depth understanding of tax compliance and regulations, focusing on indirect taxes (VAT/GST, sales tax, and use tax).
  • Financial Acumen: Strong knowledge of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable, as well as experience with revenue recognition, US GAAP, IFRS, and withholding taxes.
  • Advanced Skills: Applied experience with banking, cash management/treasury, and experience in SAP ACR/DRC reporting and document compliance.
  • Certification: S/4 HANA certification is preferred.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work on projects with cross-functional teams, external resources, and PMO.
