JOB DESCRIPTION : RELEASE VERSION UPGRADE
Work Experience: 7-9 years of relevant experience
Location: Remote Support
Support Window : Eastern Standard Time (IST 6:30pm \xe2\x80\x93 IST 3:30am)
Roles & Responsibilities:
As a Lead consultant, you are responsible to prepare and run upgrade planning workshops for Enterprise Cloud Services customers.
The standardized service templates will be tailored to the customer requirements.
The planning workshop focus is on the following deliverables:
O Upgrade scoping and planning
O Evaluate upgrade scope, prerequisites, impact, dependencies, and duration
O Define upgrade sequence for the landscape.
O Create high-level project plan using a standardized template.
Ensure smooth handover to the ECS project lead and further ECS resources
Responsible for acting as a lead in resolving critical issues
Apply the subject matter expertise on critical issues/change requests & act as a de-escalation point to help resolve them in the given SLA
Academic Qualification & Skill Competencies:
Practical experience in planning and coordination of complex upgrade projects
Good understanding of upgrade best practices
Skilled in leading workshops with customers
Good understanding of the RISE with SAP product portfolio, technologies, and upgrade strategies
Technical upgrade execution experience is a plus
Strong communication skills.
In depth understanding of advanced topics such as Silent Data Migration
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
Graduate in Engineering / Computer science / Information systems

SAP Activate Project Manager
PMP / PRINCE2 Practitioner
SAP S4HANA Conversion and SAP System Upgrade
SAP S/4HANA Implementation Scenarios for Architects
