Sap Operator
Job Description
An SAP operator's job description includes:
• Data entry : Entering large amounts of data using SAP, spreadsheets, databases, word processing, or other computer software
• Data verification : Comparing data to source documents to ensure its integrity
• Data review : Checking data for errors, missing pages, or missing information, and resolving any discrepancies
• Filing system : Maintaining a filing system and working with the team to get all supporting details for transactions
• Production booking : Using SAP to book recyclable or reject material during production
• Physical stock taking : Taking physical stock of raw materials and finished products, and reconciling it with SAP stock
• Report checking : Checking different reports in SAP, such as production, consumption, receive material, and stock
• BOM and recipe creation : Understanding how to create BOM and recipes
• Schedule preparation : Preparing daily inbound and outbound schedules using SAP reports
• Client coordination : Coordinating with clients, customers, and transporters
Some qualifications for an SAP operator role include:
• ITI - COPA (Computer Operator & Programming Assistance)
• BCA or BA
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
