About the role: This is your opportunity to join our team of experts in Finance Business Processes in SAP Finance that will actively take ownership of the SAP data, processes and business applications and run the governance framework to ensure the integrity of financial data assets. You will report to the Head SAP Governance Bangalore Hub and act as a trusted partner to key internal customers. In this role, you will analyze business processes, advise on improvements and effectively changes by communicating with Business and IT teams. The responsibilities include and are not limited to: Gather requirements, analyze, prioritize, clarify to implementors, co-ordinate UAT, sign off and communicate outcomes. Effectively collaborate with partners like business users, product owners, architects, developers in understanding, documenting and managing dependencies. Ensure compliance to defined standard practices / methodologies followed through duration of project. Utilize best practices in business process analysis, process mapping to enable transparency in solution governance. Coordinate and contribute in user-acceptance testing of implemented change requests develop and clearly document test cases, test plans, and test scripts. Ability to challenge status-quo, utilize new tools and services to deliver quick-wins to the business teams. About the team: We are the Accounting & Reporting Office, a team spread across Europe, Asia and the US that provides advice and acts as trusted partner to Finance Reinsurance teams globally in the management of the Finance Reinsurance governance framework. Beside the maintenance of an appropriate SAP governance, we advise on process and control design within the Group risk and control framework and we develop standards for closing and reporting processes to drive consistency and transparency in decision-making. We are part of the Accounting & Reporting department in Finance Reinsurance, which is responsible for the production financial numbers, the consolidation of financial views in Reinsurance for external reporting and ensuring consistency across US GAAP, local statutory and economic reporting bases. About you: You hold a university degree in accounting, finance or a quantitative field (e.g. mathematics, engineering, or information technology). You demonstrate a keen understanding of the Finance functional processes. Experience in SAP Finance environment is preferred. Experience or knowledge of Agile and DevOps would be an added plus. You have worked for 4-8 years in the following areas: requirement gathering and analysis, documentation of functional specifications, Unit and Integration testing of IT solutions, master data management, financial accounting and reporting. You know how to handle large amounts of data in MS Excel and present your findings in simple and visually appealing way. You communicate clearly, speak and write eloquently in English you can explain just about anything to anybody. You are a problem solver and demonstrate a strong client centric attitude, embracing product ownership. You anticipate future issues, drive progress despite uncertainty and handle conflicts effectively. You are a self-starter who can handle multiple priorities, work independently and deliver high-quality products under pressure You work hands-on, embracing virtual teams and partnering with people from different backgrounds and cultures.
