Job Description


Overview:The SAP FICO Consultant plays a crucial role in our organization, responsible for implementing and maintaining the SAP FI/CO modules to meet business requirements. This position is essential for ensuring the seamless integration of financial processes and providing accurate financial reporting and analysis.Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document requirements for SAP FI/CO module.
  • Configure and customize the SAP FICO module to address specific business needs.
  • Provide end-user support, training, and documentation for SAP FICO users.
  • Participate in system testing, including creating test scripts and conducting end-to-end testing.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate financial processes using SAP FICO.
  • Ensure the integration of the SAP FICO module with other SAP modules and external systems.
  • Perform ongoing system maintenance, optimization, and upgrades.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Stay updated with the latest SAP FICO functionalities and best practices.
  • Assist in the resolution of issues and incidents related to the SAP FICO module.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance within the SAP FICO system.
  • Participate in the planning and implementation of SAP FICO projects and enhancements.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of change management strategies related to SAP FICO.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement of SAP FICO processes and systems.
Required Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in configuring SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, AA) and CO (CCA, PCA, COPA) modules.
  • Demonstrated expertise in SAP FICO integration with other SAP modules and third-party systems.
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices.
  • Experience in conducting end-user training and preparing comprehensive documentation.
  • Ability to analyze business processes and translate them into efficient SAP FICO solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with business users and technical teams.
  • Understanding of SAP best practices and ability to apply them in solution design.
  • Certification in SAP FICO is highly preferred.
  • Experience in supporting SAP FICO in a global or multi-country environment is a plus.
  • Thorough understanding of financial reporting and analysis using SAP FICO.
  • Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and the ability to leverage its features for SAP FICO enhancements.
