Role: Senior consultant

Location : Preferably Pune / Bengaluru/ Chennai / Other major cities in India. This position may require 25% travel.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Digital Manufacturing Specialist with 8-10 years of experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining SAP Digital Manufacturing solutions that optimize production processes, enhance operational efficiency and support smart manufacturing initiatives. Job responsibilities:

? Lead or contribute to the implementation of SAP Digital Manufacturing (SAP DM)

solutions, including integration with SAP ERP, MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems),

and shop-floor systems.

? Configure and customize SAP DM modules (e.g., SAP ME, SAP MII, SAP PCo) to meet

client requirements.

? Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Operations, Engineering) to align SAP DM

functionality with business objectives.

? Develop and maintain best practices for digital manufacturing processes and ensure

alignment with industry standards

? Design scalable, efficient SAP DM architectures tailored to the manufacturing

environment.

? Configure and customize SAP DM solutions to optimize production, improve traceability,

and enhance real-time decision-making capabilities.

? Use SAP DM data to generate insights for process improvements, key decision making

and enhanced production management.

? Leverage SAP Analytics and reporting tools to monitor KPIs and operational

performance.

? Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for SAP Digital

Manufacturing systems.

? Maintain up-to-date documentation for system configurations, processes, and

procedures.

? Conduct user training and provide guidance on SAP DM functionality to ensure

successful adoption by end-users.

Required Skills, Attributes and Education:

? Overall experience 8-10 years in SAP ME/MII. SAP DM experience - more than 1 year

? At least 1 full SAP DMC project implementation.

? Ability to define SAP DMC implementation strategy, gather functional and non-functional

requirements, design and prototype, test, train, define support procedures, and implement

practical business solutions

? Knowledge of SAP DMC site setups, shop floor master data, shop floor execution and

tracking, integration with S/4 HANA, PODs, data collection (DC), genealogy, returns

management, site-to-site transfer, Worker guidance set up etc.

? Knowledge of integration points of SAP DMC to other SAP S/4 HANA components

? Experience with other MES products would be advantageous.

? Experience with IoT, Industry 4.0 technologies, and cloud based manufacturing

solutions.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
