This position is open for Mumbai, India. The role will align to Dow's Design Your Day approach and allows employees to work from their home location but will also require onsite work one week per month and as required based on project work and role needs.The SAP BW Developer is responsible for delivering large-scale, complex data warehouse (BW on HANA) and data integration processes and technologies to help Dow's businesses and functions achieve their objectives and accelerate Dow's digital transformation. Under the guidance of senior developers, the SAP BW Developer works hand-in-hand with a global, multi-disciplinary IT expert team to deliver innovative digital solutions. They develop, optimize, implement, and support solutions leveraging best-in-class SAP BW on HANA technologies.ResponsibilitiesTake on assigned aspects of solution delivery for integrated reporting & analytics solutionsWork with global team that includes both partners and technical teams to deliver IT business solutionsEngage in assigned aspects of business application solution lifecycle (development /coding, testing, implementation, and support)Identify problem areas and implement appropriate strategic solutions in line with organizational standardsCollaborates with developers, DBAs, architects, and functional partners.QualificationsA minimum of a bachelor's degree.A minimum of 2-4 year delivering enterprise solutions with any programming language.A degree discipline in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or other Engineering Disciplines.Preferred SkillsExperience with SAP BW - BW 7.5 on HANA V2.0Experience with native HANA V2.0 (including SLT, SDA)Experience with SAP ECC 6.0 on DB2Knowledge of Azure data services, Python, BI tools (i.e. Power BI), and Change Management is a plusStrong organizational, facilitative and communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Self-starter / self-motivatedAbility to thrive in challenging situations and solve complex problemsunderstanding of algorithms and data structures, knowledge of databasesAdditional notesRelocation assistance is not available with this position.xe2x80x8bThe ability to accommodate a flexible schedule aligned with international time zones is essentialBenefits xe2x80x93 What Dow offers youWe invest in you.Dow invests in total rewards programs to help you manage all aspects of you: your pay, your health, your life, your future, and your career.
