Primary Objective:




The SAP Basis Specialist is responsible for the essential support and maintenance of SAP systems, including system installation, configuration, and performance tuning. This role exists to ensure the smooth operation and reliability of SAP environments, which are critical for the company's business processes.



Key Activities:


• Install and configure SAP systems.


• Perform regular system checks and updates to ensure optimal performance.


• Manage SAP user accounts and authorizations.


• Monitor system performance and implement tuning improvements.


• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP system issues.

Key roles responsibilities and accountabilities :


• System Maintenance: Conduct regular system maintenance and apply patches and upgrades.


• Technical Support: Provide technical support for SAP system users and resolve issues promptly.


• Backup and Recovery: Manage system backups and plan for disaster recovery scenarios.


• Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams to ensure integration and alignment with the company's IT landscape.


• Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation for system configurations and procedures



Education:


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.





Experience:


• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in SAP Basis administration and support.


• Experience with SAP system installations, upgrades, and migrations.



Skills:


• Strong technical knowledge of SAP Basis and related components.


• Familiarity with database administration, preferably with SAP HANA.


• Understanding of network and system security principles.


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.



Certifications (Preferred):


• SAP Certified Technology Associate - System Administration.


• SAP Certified Technology Professional - System Performance Optimization.



Language:

• Native or fluent in English
