It\xe2\x80\x99s an opportunity to be part of something special.About the roleThe SAP Basis - Specialist is responsible to undertake activities pertaining to SAP BASIS & underlying Database & OS.This role requires operational expertise in SAP BASIS (underlying Database & OS) to ensure that ERP landscape is available & secure. Candidate will work with internal teams and Partner resources to ensure all Operations Processes are in place and being optimally executed to ensure SAP Availability and Useability. This includes activities pertaining to administration and keep environment current (i.e. ensuring patching is undertaken to avoid vulnerability risk).Key responsibilitiesSAP Administration and Database Management (Oracle & HANA)Patch management & executionAlert ManagementExecute Technical changes in ERP landscapeUndertake activities to ensure SOX compliance within ERP landscapeResolving vulnerabilitiesBackup and RestoreExecute DR drillsNote: To avoid user & business impact several activities are performed during lean period, which would mean that candidate would be asked to work over weekends & off-business hours.Qualifications and skills EssentialMinimum 7+ years SAP Basis hands on and operational experience.Must have worked in large (50+ instances) SAP Environment with HA / DR setup.Database Management (Oracle & HANA)Technical expertise in the following Products:SAP ECCSAP APOSAP BWSAP PI/PODB (Oracle, HANA) & OS (Linux, Windows)Experience of hybrid operations (on-prem with cloud integrations)Experience of working in a global company including being part of a globally dispersed, multi-time zone support team.Ability to manage technical escalations.Working on Audit needs (technical & Auditors) and SOX compliance across the landscapeRemediate vulnerabilities for SAP LandscapeAzure based SAP landscape experience is a plusPharmaceutical or other regulated industry experience is a plus.Care to join us.
