The Role
Develop and implement automation workflows using Ansible Tower to automate SAP Basis tasks such as system provisioning, configuration management, patching, and monitoring.

Collaborate with SAP Basis team to identify repetitive manual tasks and automate them using Ansible playbooks and modules.

Customize and extend Ansible Tower functionality to meet specific SAP automation requirements.

Integrate Ansible Tower with SAP systems, databases, and other enterprise applications to orchestrate end-to-end automation processes.

Provide expertise in SAP Basis administration, including system installation, upgrade, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

Develop custom scripts and tools using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) to enhance automation capabilities and address complex automation requirements.

Create documentation, training materials, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for automation processes and workflows.

Collaborate with IT security and compliance teams to ensure automation solutions adhere to security policies and regulatory requirements.

Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in SAP automation and infrastructure automation.

You'll be a troubleshooter extraordinaire, diagnosing and repairing complex equipment, software, and systems with ease. Nothing will be too challenging for you to solve as you respond to escalated issues, report critical design flaws, reliability and maintenance problems, and bugs.



You'll be the go-to person for our customers who require assistance with highly technical or sophisticated products, as well as for customer installations and training. With your passion for technology, you'll provide world-class support that exceeds customer expectations.



As Technical Support, you'll perform varying degrees of problem determination and resolution of desktop hardware and software issues using your technical expertise and available resources to ensure that our customers' issues are resolved efficiently and effectively. You'll also have the opportunity to perform installs, moves, adds, and changes (IMAC) activities, as well as data backup and restore on certain accounts for clients, ensuring that all related administrative duties are completed within Service Level Agreement objectives.



You will develop a deep understanding of the local and regional infrastructure, as well as key contacts in other competencies, which will enable you to ensure that the proper team is aware of - and taking action on the problem.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise



• 3-5 years of experience in Automation of developing Ansible tower solution for SAP
• 5+ years experience in SAP Basis.
• To be working in CET (i.e, 11:30AM IST to 8:30 PM IST)
• Experience with Python and required scripting skill for automation execution
• Experience with SAP non GUI connectivity and execution of task in SAP servers.


Mandatory: SAP BASIS skill and Ansible tower

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience



• SAP Certified
• Experience with network automation/scripting
