R2P Invoicing Technical Product Owner

What you will do

The Ariba Buying Technical Product Owner is responsible for serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Ariba Emarketplace and Buying solutions, identifying and implementing technology solutions that enable Request to Pay objectives, and partnering with key stakeholders to streamline Buying process. While focused on Ariba the role will bridge across Executing the Request to Pay technology vision/roadmap and steering squad(s) in delivering technology product/platform features oriented around the business impact and our successful separation of applications as a new company.

Key Responsibilities


Serve as Subject Matter Expert for SAP Ariba Buying Capability

Configure Ariba as per business requirements

Partner with Ariba Business Product Owner to develop and maintain product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs

Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement

Manage Ariba per our software lifeycle governance and documentation - xDLC requirements

Partner R2P Operations and Business Product/Process owners to ensure Ariba meets business requirements

Leading continuous improvements across the Request to Pay technology product lifecycle while driving engagement with third parties to support the delivery of the squad(s) objectives

Understanding the latest technology trends in the R2P field to inform technology product roadmap

Prioritizing a backlog, utilizing technical expertise, and understanding of customer needs to translate requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria for R2P technology products/platforms

Working with the business to channel the "voice of the customer" within the R2P product squad to ensure the squad "builds the right thing"

Working closely with business partners and technology team members, supporting communications and end-user outreach where necessary

Working closely with engineers to balance technical debt with feature delivery and assessing technology elements prior to user testing

Owning Ariba reporting and performance analytics to monitor sprint metrics and user results

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications


Overall 11+ years of experience Five plus years of experience in technology project/product management, engineering, UX, or another related field with a specific functional spin to Request to Pay products and processes.

Ariba

One S/4 Hana & ECC

Demonstrated success in leading and managing cross-functional, self-organized teams.

Experience managing a product backlog/release plan, tracking team level metrics, attending product team ceremonies, removing blockers, etc.

Experience deploying Request to Pay/Accounts Payable systems and tools; also, functional experience in Travel, Time and Expenses systems and tools is advantageous but not required

Understanding of technology trends in the Request to Pay field

Experience with the SAP Ariba Cloud offering, functionality and application

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

Experience working as part of a global team




Desired Qualifications


Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or another related field Product/Digital expertise: + Foundational skills in data engineering, cybersecurity, intelligent automation, and emerging technology

Relevant Ariba certifications Experience with Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, XRay)
