In this pivotal role, youxe2x80x99ll collaborate with senior leaders to shape our AI operating model, foster innovation, and unlock transformative value across AstraZenecaxe2x80x99s SAP estate. Bring your expertise in AI, governance, and engineering to redefine business processes and drive the future of healthcare innovation.We are looking for an AI leader who can pioneer the build of an AI capability on AstraZenecaxe2x80x99s new SAP stack.We are building and leading a large (50+ FTE) team of analytics specialists, AI experts and business analysts to support the delivery of analytics and AI on AstraZenecaxe2x80x99s new SAP stack. You will lead a small team that will be investigating the AI capabilities of the SAP analytics stack. This will include: running PoCs; building out the first use cases; supporting the governance of AI; working with senior leaders to define the AI operating model; building out an ideation and innovation approach for emerging AI team.The potential for AI across AstraZenecaxe2x80x99s SAP estate is massive. We are starting with a clean slate, and anticipate that we should start to derive significant value over the next few years.Essential experience

• In depth knowledge of AI techniques and tools
• Real world experience of applying AI in business processes
• Real world experience of using AI to develop insights
• Experience of AI governance
• Experience of good engineering practices at scale

Desirable experience

• AI delivery within regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, GxP, SOX, GDPR)
• Pharmaceutical industry experience
• Experience of manufacturing, supply chain, distribution,
• Experience of finance processes (R2R, P2P, O2C etc),
• MLOps,
• SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud,
• Team leadership and team building.
