Job Title: Sanskrit Teacher

Location: Emerald International School, Nelamangala, Bangalore

Position type: Full Time, Residential

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Sanskrit Teacher to join our school. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Sanskrit to students from Class 4 to 10, following the CBSE curriculum. This role is ideal for an individual who is committed to fostering a love for the Sanskrit language and culture in a residential school setting.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Sanskrit lessons in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
• Develop and administer assessments to evaluate student progress. Provide constructive feedback and support to help students improve their language skills.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Manage classroom behavior and maintain discipline in accordance with school policies.
• Participate in the residential life of the school, including supervising students during meals, study hours, and recreational activities. Provide pastoral care and support to students as part of the residential staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sanskrit or a related field.
• B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Proven experience in teaching Sanskrit, preferably within the CBSE curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and classroom management abilities.
• Passion for teaching and nurturing young minds.
• Experience in a residential school setting is an advantage.
