Sample In-Charge

Job Summary :

The Sample In-Charge will be responsible for handling all aspects of sample management, including weighing, packaging, dispatching, tracking, and follow-ups. The role is critical in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of samples to clients, buyers, or internal stakeholders while maintaining proper documentation and records.

Key Responsibilities:

Sample Preparation: Accurately weigh and package tea samples for dispatch.

Sample Dispatch : Arrange for timely delivery of samples to clients or internal teams.

Tracking and Follow-Up: Keep a record of all dispatched samples and follow up on delivery.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain records and prepare regular reports on sample dispatch both in register and in excel.

Coordination : Work with dispatch team and factories to ensure smooth sample handling. Coordinate with clients and buyers to understand sample needs and provide updates on dispatch timelines.

Skills:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics, business, or a related field is a plus.

Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the tea industry or a related field.

Attention to Detail: Precision in weighing, packaging, and record-keeping.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication in English, Hindi, and/or local languages.

Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple sample requests simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word).

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Experience in handling tea samples or working in the tea industry.

Familiarity with courier/logistics processes for domestic and international shipping.

Working Conditions:

Full-time role based at the head office.

Involve occasional travel to coordinate sample delivery if required.
