We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer specializing in Factory Automation, Industry 4.0, PLCs, VFDs, and HMIs . The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in industrial automation and be adept at developing new business opportunities, establishing relationships with clients, and providing tailored solutions. This role involves working closely with key clients in manufacturing, industrial automation, and engineering fields to drive sales and promote our advanced automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sales & Business Development
• Identify, approach, and acquire new clients in the industrial automation sector.
• Generate sales leads and build a robust pipeline for products and solutions including PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and Industry 4.0 applications.
• Engage with decision-makers and technical teams to understand client needs and recommend the appropriate automation solutions.
• Technical Consultation & Solution Design
• Provide technical expertise on PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and Industry 4.0 solutions to assist clients in making informed decisions.
• Conduct product demonstrations, prepare presentations, and offer technical guidance to showcase the value and capabilities of our products.
• Work closely with the engineering and R&D teams to design customized solutions that meet specific customer requirements.
• Market Research & Competitive Analysis
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities in factory automation and industrial control systems.
• Conduct market research to identify potential opportunities, customer pain points, and innovative solutions to enhance our offerings.
• Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and key stakeholders in the industry.
• Follow up with clients post-sales to ensure satisfaction, gather feedback, and foster long-term partnerships.
• Sales Forecasting & Reporting
• Prepare and present sales forecasts, progress reports, and market analyses to the management team.
• Track and achieve sales targets while maintaining profitability and growth metrics.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) in technical sales or business development within the automation or manufacturing industry.
• Solid understanding of PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and Industry 4.0 technologies.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a technical mindset for understanding customer requirements and designing solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with CRM tools and MS Office Suite
