Position Overview:
We are seeking an energetic and goal-oriented Sales Person to join our team in Bhavanipuram, Vijayawada, to drive sales in the FMCG sector. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in the FMCG industry, with a proven ability to manage client relationships and meet sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sales & Revenue Generation :
• Promote and sell FMCG products to retailers, distributors, and other customers within the assigned territory.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as defined by the management.
• Identify new business opportunities and customer needs to expand sales channels.
• Client Relationship Management :
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers.
• Regularly visit clients and stores to ensure product visibility, correct placement, and inventory management.
• Address client queries and provide after-sales support when needed.
• Market Analysis & Reporting :
• Conduct market research to gather insights into customer needs, preferences, and competitor activity.
• Provide feedback to the management team on market trends, sales performance, and product improvements.
• Maintain records of sales activities, client interactions, and sales pipeline management.
• Product Knowledge :
• Stay updated on product features, benefits, and changes to effectively present and sell FMCG items.
• Educate customers on new product launches and promotions.
Qualifications:
• Educational Background :
A high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Business , Sales , or related fields is an advantage.
• Experience :
A minimum of 1 year of experience in the FMCG sector is required. Proven ability to achieve sales goals and manage client relationships.
• Skills :
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good negotiation skills and a sales-driven attitude.
• Basic computer literacy (MS Office) to maintain records and reports.
Preferred Attributes:
• Knowledge of the FMCG market in Vijayawada and surrounding areas.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and a quick learner.
• Ability to travel locally within the assigned area to meet clients and retailers.
