Roles & Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive, high-quality technical solutions and architecture designs based on business requirements using Salesforce technologies. This includes designing scalable, reliable, and efficient solutions that leverage Salesforce platform capabilities.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team throughout the project lifecycle. Mentor junior and mid-level developers, conduct code reviews, and ensure best practices are followed.
Demonstrate strong hands-on experience with Salesforce development, customization, and configuration. This includes but is not limited to Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, Salesforce APIs, and integration with external systems.
Collaborate with stakeholders, including business analysts, project managers, and business users, to understand requirements, provide technical recommendations, and communicate solution designs effectively.
Lead a team of developers, providing direction, support, and motivation. Define project tasks, allocate resources, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and deployment guides. Ensure documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and up-to-date.
Identify and address performance bottlenecks in Salesforce applications. Optimize code, configuration, and integration processes to enhance system performance and scalability.
Ensure compliance with Salesforce best practices, security standards, and governance policies. Stay updated with the latest Salesforce releases, features, and industry trends.
Act as a subject matter expert in resolving complex technical issues and challenges. Investigate and troubleshoot production incidents, providing timely resolutions and preventive measures.
Stay abreast of emerging Salesforce technologies, tools, and methodologies. Continuously improve technical skills and knowledge through self-learning, training, and certifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA/testing, deployment, and support teams, to ensure seamless delivery and maintenance of Salesforce solutions.
Evaluate third-party tools and integrations, assess their compatibility with Salesforce, and manage vendor relationships as necessary.
Qualifications / Skills:
Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering.
Salesforce Certifications: The candidate should hold relevant Salesforce certifications that demonstrate expertise in Salesforce development and architecture. These certifications may include:
1. Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA): This is the highest level of certification offered by Salesforce and demonstrates proficiency in designing and implementing complex Salesforce solutions.(optional) 2. Salesforce Certified Application Architect or Salesforce Certified System Architect: These certifications validate expertise in designing and building scalable and secure applications or systems on the Salesforce platform.(desirable) 3. Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II: These certifications demonstrate proficiency in developing custom applications and integrations on the Salesforce platform using Apex and Lightning technologies.(PD1 mandatory, PD2 desirable) 4. Other relevant certifications such as Salesforce Certified Sales/Service/Marketing Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Certified Integration Architecture Designer, etc.(desirable) A minimum of 8 to 15 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development and architecture is typically required for this role. This experience should encompass designing and implementing Salesforce solutions across various industries and business domains. Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills are essential for effectively leading and mentoring a team of developers. Experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving successful project deliveries is highly valued. The candidate should possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to architect robust and scalable solutions, as well as to troubleshoot complex technical issues effectively.
