Job Title: Salesforce Industries Insurance Architect

We are seeking a talented and experienced Salesforce Industries Insurance Architect to join our project team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in the insurance industry and a deep understanding of the Salesforce Industries Insurance platform. The consultant will be responsible for bringing subject matter expertise of the Salesforce solution to the project, working closely with the PwC project team and the clients' stakeholders to ensure that the solutions meet their needs.


### Responsibilities:

• Primary responsibility:
+ Work with the client to understand their business needs for the insurance business unit, provide technical designs for user stories, creating / updating and maintaining relevant documentation and develop solutions that leverage the Salesforce Industries Insurance platform
• Additional responsibilities:
+ Configure and customize Salesforce Industries Insurance to meet the clients' specific requirements through development of Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and user stories, as needed.
+ Work closely with the clients' stakeholders, including business users, technical teams, and executives, to ensure that the solutions meet their needs and are aligned with their strategic goals
+ Conduct and participate in project workshops and knowledge sessions for the client to ensure successful understanding and adoption of Salesforce Industries Insurance solutions
+ Stay current on the latest Salesforce Industries Insurance technologies and industry trends and provide thought leadership to the project team and client
+ Collaborate with the PwC project team to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction
+ Coach and educate salesforce developers on best Salesforce industries best practices and implementation approaches. Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues should they arise
• Travel may be needed to the client site on an occasional basis and will be reimbursed as per PwC travel policy

### Deliverables:

The Salesforce Industries Insurance Architect will contribute in the creation, and review of the following deliverables:


User Stories (Requirements): A user story is used as the central mechanism to; (1) Describe high level functionality to be developed; (2) Represent a thin slice of end-user functionality; (3) Provide a collaborative framework to capture system requirements; (4) Consist of Acceptance Criteria that act as the Story boundaries/aspects; and (5) Create traceability from requirements, through development, testing and deployment activities. Stories are a logical grouping of functionality to be reviewed, built, and tested within a Sprint. Each story includes detailed requirements, specifications, acceptance criteria and related documentation (e.g., reference documents, design documents, images). Once the User Stories (Requirements) have been completed, they will be used in Sprint planning sessions for future development Sprints. Technical Designs for User Stories: Detailed implementation specifications for individual user stories detailing the Salesforce features to be used to meet the user story acceptance criteria and the approach/considerations the developer should take into account. Technical Design Documentation: Existing technical design documentation will be updated in order to provide an overall solution for Insurance Management that will include: architectural specifications and a technical design including integration; and security specifications.


The Architect will also contribute in the updates of the following deliverables:


Test Strategy: The Test Strategy will include all information necessary within the release to execute and control the test effort. The deliverable will include a high-level test plan including automated load testing, defect management, the definition of ready and the definition of done, test environment requirements and the formalization of test teams and responsibilities. Data Migration Strategy: The Data Migration Strategy will provide a high level architecture overview as well as the approach on how existing Insurance Management data will be converted to the target Salesforce Industries Insurance solution while preserving data integrity, quality and completeness as well as applying identified data standardization rules. The Data Migration Strategy will also provide the guidelines required to address data access requirements for historical data that will remain accessible outside of Salesforce for consultation purposes.


### Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, computer science, or engineering
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the insurance industry
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with the Salesforce Industries Insurance platform, with a strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and methodologies
• Overall 12-15 years of experience in SF ecosystem. 5+ years as architect
• Salesforce Omnistudio Consultant certification, Salesforce Omnistudio Developer certification and Salesforce Financial Services Cloud Accredited professional designation required OR demonstrated experience with designing and configuring the Salesforce Industries Insurance product
• Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Consultant, or Salesforce Developer are preferred
• Hand on experience with Salesforce Application Lifecycle Development, Integration Design, Frontend development (Javascript, LWC, Aura), and proficiency in customizations using Apex.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal teams
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
