About the Job: Devops Engineer with Copado Location: Bangalore, Karnataka You will be joining as a Salesforce Devops Engineer supporting the ACC team and will be working with the Lead Devops Manager to support activities including, but not limited to, designing the deployment strategy, source code control, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), testing, monitoring, and automation of Salesforce deployments usingCopado. In this role you\'ll interact with Architects, stakeholders and global teams to ensure that business needs are fulfilled - both related to one-time and run-time deliveries. You will have the following responsibilities as a Devops Engineer and must have the below-mentioned qualifications: Key Responsibilities Setting up theCD/CI pipelineand environmentfrom scratchusingCopadoand related tools Having a daily impactoverseeing the DevOps release processfor the ACC Salesforce instance and assisting our developers throughout their release process Understanding our release process and thinking strategically about continuous improvement and automation that enable our developers to release efficiently and on time. . Manage Salesforce security including roles, profiles, sharing rules, permission sets and groups. . Handle all basic administrative functions including object creation, workflows, assignment rules and other routine tasks. . Build and maintain multiple solutions with the Salesforce Marketing, Sales, Communities and Service clouds. . Install and maintain AppExchange solutions to enrich data and processes. . Preform Data Loads to populate and maintain data within the org. . Ensuring code delivery through the development lifecycle is simple, seamless, and consistent, and providing long-term resolutions and an overall roadmap for the completion of this process. . Developing, maintaining, and advancing our CI/CD pipeline. Maintaining GIT repositories and deploying all the ACC releases. Supporting post-deployment activities, including knowledge transfer, process documentation, and application bug fixes. Collaborating with team members to ensure safe and secure environments for development, quality assurance, user acceptance testing, and deployment Required Qualifications 6+ total years ofhands-on experienceas aSalesforce adminand/ordeveloper, with at least 3+ years working withSalesforce deploymentsandDevOps/release management using Copado, with an understanding ofCI/CD processes andintegration concepts in an enterprise IT software development environment Expertise with branching strategies, version control, pipeline automation, and orchestration utilisingCopadoand related tools likeGit, Jenkins, BitBucket, GitHub, Ant, etc. Experience of Coordinate Branching and Merging strategies with development and QA teams Implemented complex Salesforce DevOps pipeline for Salesforce releases with Copado Excellent knowledge in code deployment version conflict resolution Mastery of advanced Git (e.g. conflict resolution, cherry-picking, rebasing), one or more popular CICD tools Experience with Salesforce configuration such as managing users, profiles and permission sets. . Participate in Org maintenance and release processes, including Salesforce major releases and org releases. . Must have worked in Large teams Primary / Mandatory skills: . Overall - 3 to 6 years\' experience with minimum 3+ years of experience administering or configuring Salesforce.com based applications. . Salesforce.com Admin (ADM201) Certified. . Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards. . Ability to research and interpret technical documentation such as release manuals and install guides. . Advanced understanding of Salesforce roles, profiles, field level security and permission sets. . Advanced understanding of CRM Marketing, Sales and Community fundamentals for accounts, contacts and opportunities including custom fields. . Creative and analytical thinker with problem-solving skills. . Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. . Effective verbal, written communication skills and relationship building skills. . Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills. . Ability to work with various departments and foster teamwork. . Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Preferred Skills: . Experience using containers (Docker, Kubernetes). . Experience with Git, Flosum, Gearset, Branching Strategy, Copado etc. . Solid understanding of PaaS & IaaS platforms like Heroku, AWS, Azure.
