Job Description

The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for the technical development, customization, and integration of Salesforce applications. The developer will work closely with business stakeholders, administrators, and other developers to build custom solutions and ensure that Salesforce is being utilized to its full potential. You will play a critical role in driving improvements and optimizations to our Salesforce environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Development: Develop custom solutions on the Salesforce platform, including custom objects, workflows, Apex triggers, Visualforce pages, and Lightning components.
• Customization and Configuration: Customize Salesforce features using declarative features such as validation rules, flows, process builders, and custom fields.
• Data Integration: Integrate Salesforce with other internal and third-party systems using REST, SOAP APIs, and middleware tools.
• Troubleshooting and Support: Identify and resolve technical issues, troubleshoot bugs, and assist in system maintenance.
• Salesforce Best Practices: Follow Salesforce best practices in terms of development, security, and scalability.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Salesforce administrators, business analysts, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Testing: Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the solution meets business needs.
• Documentation: Maintain clear and detailed documentation of technical solutions, coding practices, and system configurations.
• Salesforce Updates: Stay updated with new Salesforce releases and features to ensure the organization leverages the latest functionalities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 2-5 years of Salesforce development experience, preferably with Salesforce certifications.
• Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and SOQL .
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce declarative features such as flows , process builders , and validation rules .
• Experience with Salesforce integration patterns and middleware tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Informatica).
• Strong understanding of Salesforce security models (roles, profiles, permissions).
• Experience with Salesforce DX and development lifecycle tools like Git , Jenkins , and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with front-end development tools such as JavaScript , HTML , and CSS is a plus.
• Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I and II are highly preferred.
