The Salesforce Developer will collaborate closely with a team that includes Solution Architects, Business Analysts, Salesforce Developers, and Salesforce Admins. Together, they will work on specifications based on stakeholder requirements, validate proposals, and deliver solutions. In addition to development tasks, this role will also involve performing Salesforce Administration duties. The Salesforce Developer is an essential position at Study Group, playing a key role in the continuous improvement and enhancement of our Salesforce platform.ABOUT THE ROLE

• Design and development of Lightning pages and components, Apex classes/controllers/triggers, Workflow, SOQL, and SOSL
• Developing the use of our CRM products and services: Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud and Education Data Architecture.
• Development of web services using the Force.com SOAP and REST API.
• Deployment and testing using Git, sandboxes and the production environment to ensure integrations and functionality are fit for purpose.
• Collaborating with other Salesforce Administrators to validate business requirements and any considerations (security, scalability, limits).
• Working with the business to collate requirements and translate them into high-quality, robust solutions.
• Best Practices: Adhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation, and write / maintain test classes for all custom development.
• Integrating, maintaining and administering business applications to Salesforce, such as Adobe Sign, Survey Monkey, SMS Magic, RIO.
• Collaborating with IT / Developers for other systems in order to integrate across the business.
• Supporting other Salesforce Administrators and Developers.
• Documenting solution designs and briefing admins.
• Carrying out general project work: List views, validation rules, queues and assignment rules, auto-response rules, workflow rules, tasks, alerts and field updates, email and document templates, data migration.
• Raise, monitor and resolve support cases with Salesforce Support.
• Assist with Salesforce related Service Desk tickets submitted by business or IT users.

ABOUT YOUQualifications & Experience:

• Salesforce Certifications: Platform Developer I, Administrator, Javascript Developer I
• Preferably Platform Developer II (Certified Advanced Developer)
• Experience with Salesforce Unlimited Edition, Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Communities.
• Experience with Adobe Sign would be advantageous.
• Experience with APEX, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components and Java.
• Experience working with integration such as web services with SOAP and REST APIs.
• Experience working with data integration tools such as Boomi or similar would be advantageous.
• General web development experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript
• A proactive attitude to Salesforce enhancements and bringing existing code into best practices.
• Ability to write, interpret, and critique technical specifications.
• Experience working with large data sets and bulkification.
