Day to Day

As a Salesforce Developer at Indeed, you will be responsible for developing business features and technical capabilities within Indeed's Salesforce instance and related data, services, and applications. You will be highly familiar with our core data models and APIs in Salesforce and internal data systems and how Opportunities, Accounts, Contacts, and Leads map to key business processes in our Sales and Client Success groups. You will drive the implementation and delivery of development projects and work directly with technical leaders as well as Product Managers, Program Managers, and business collaborator to ensure the success of your projects.


You'll be expected to grow your technical skills and knowledge of the Salesforce platform, learning new Salesforce products and technologies as the team is implementing them. Your projects will require the creation of new components, data models, and APIs, as well as the addition of new functionality to existing components, data models, and APIs.

Responsibilities

Participate in all phases of software development life cycle including functional analysis, development, prototyping, coding, testing, deployment, and support. Develop high-quality, scalable applications with Apex, Lightning Components as well as declarative- and configuration-driven development. Work in the Salesforce.com development environment which includes custom objects, flows, triggers, the Force.com IDE, migration tools, SOQL and web services/Rest APIs. Integrate salesforce.com with other systems, including Saas applications from other vendors, REST APIs, event-driven systems, or data warehouses Apply best practices and design patterns to build applications on the Force.com platform.

Skills/Competencies

3+ years of engaged experience in Salesforce development Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification Experienced in developing Lightning web components, Aura components, Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, Force.com IDE and SOQL Deftknowledge of Salesforce design, development & data structures Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail Solid written and verbal communication skills Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Salary Range Transparency

India 2,160,000 - 3,240,000 INR per year

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees.
