Summary of Position:IT Systems Software Analysis & Programming focuses on programming & configuration of IT Systems Software (i.e. software for use in operating/controlling hardware and providing a platform for running internal end user/business applications). The work includes: \xe2\x80\xa2Identifying and analyzing business needs, conducting requirements gathering, and defining scope and objectives for the IT System \xe2\x80\xa2Developing programming specifications, diagrams, and flowcharts \xe2\x80\xa2Writing code in lower-level programming languages to optimize the performance and efficiency of an organization\xe2\x80\x99s IT platform/infrastructure \xe2\x80\xa2Configuring, customizing, diagnosing, and enhancing vendor systems software (e.g., operating systems software and utilities that manage access to peripherals, facilitate networking, manage memory allocation, manage file storage on hard drives, etc.) \xe2\x80\xa2Writing diagnostic programs to test integrated software/hardware systems and resolve system faults \xe2\x80\xa2Creating functional and technical documentation of systems software programs and code.Alcon is seeking a skilled Salesforce Application Support Developer to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of our Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a Salesforce Administration certification.Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first-line support for Salesforce users, troubleshooting issues and resolving them promptly.
• Manage and triage support tickets, ensuring they are addressed in a timely manner.
• Perform root cause analysis on recurring issues to prevent future occurrences.
• Make simple configuration changes within the Salesforce platform as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address user needs and system requirements.
• Assist in the deployment of new features and enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption to users.
• Maintain system documentation and user guides.
• Ensure data integrity and security within the Salesforce environment.
• Monitor system performance and suggest improvements to enhance user experience.

Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Salesforce Administration and Salesforce Platform Application certifications.
• 2-4 years of experience in Salesforce administration and Salesforce application developer.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, and related applications.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with data management and reporting within Salesforce.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
• Experience working on debugging Apex Code and lightning component.

Preferred:

• Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, or other Salesforce products.
• Experience working with ServiceNow tool
• Knowledge of Salesforce integration tools and techniques.
• Additional Salesforce certifications (e.g., Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder).
