Toast has ambitious plans for the future, and this role will assist in making them happen.About this roll* (Responsibilities)

• Spends the majority of their time working on Salesforce-related development tasks, requiring a high degree of technical expertise, like:

\xe2\x97\x8b APEX triggers and Platform Event handlers\xe2\x97\x8b Aura and Lightning Web Components\xe2\x97\x8b APEX batch processes\xe2\x97\x8b VF pages\xe2\x97\x8b REST Web Services

• Follows design, architecture, and development best practices
• Performs code reviews and is actively involved in deployment processes

\xe2\x97\x8b Experience with GitHub tooling and PR process\xe2\x97\x8b Follows appropriate review etiquette\xe2\x97\x8b Passion for ensuring we deliver the highest quality code

• Actively involved in deployment processes

\xe2\x97\x8b Identification of affected components\xe2\x97\x8b Merging of code with the rest of the code base\xe2\x97\x8b Identification and resolution of merge conflicts\xe2\x97\x8b Development of adequate tests that cover and validate code

• Assists in developing project estimates and plans for self

\xe2\x97\x8b Accurate sizing of stories based on the SCRUM process\xe2\x97\x8b On-time delivery of work\xe2\x97\x8b Timely escalation of blockers

• Proficiency in troubleshooting issues

\xe2\x97\x8b Leverage Developer Console, Workbench, and other troubleshooting tools\xe2\x97\x8b Analyze Salesforce Debug Logs for errors and performance issues

• Proactively seeks out and keeps up-to-date on Salesforce technologies, related tools, and best practices

Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)

• 7+ years of Salesforce development experience (Lightning, VF, Apex) in an Enterprise environment

• Advanced experience using Process Builders, Flows, and other Salesforce platform tools
• Advanced understanding of the Software Development Life cycle and Agile methodologies
• Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and Sales Cloud (Experience Cloud a plus)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
• Salesforce Platform Developer II certification

• Experience using ServiceNow or similar tool

• Experience using version control tools (GitHub)

• Experience with Salesforce Discounting, contracts, quote templates, and renewals
