:What You\'ll DoAvalara is seeking a dedicated Salesforce CPQ Sales Support Specialist to provide expert support to our sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce CPQ and be responsible for assisting with the configuration, pricing, and quoting processes. This role involves troubleshooting issues, optimizing CPQ processes, and ensuring that sales operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will be based in our Pune office working the evening shift i.e. 6 pm \xe2\x80\x93 3 am. As an individual contributor, you will report to the Sr. Manager of Revenue Operations.As a Sales Operations Support Specialist at Avalara, you will play a vital role in supporting our sales teams in the quoting process, deal reviews and data governance. This roles with have a wide breadth responsibility so we are looking for detailed oriented candidates who are eager to learn and enjoy problem solving.

  • Collaborating with sales teams to support quote generation in Salesforce CPQ, including pricing and product details.
  • Provide SFDC data support by working tickets to maintain data cleanliness across accounts, contacts, leads, opportunities and quotes.
  • Engaging in data entry and analysis within Salesforce, inputting essential information and generating reports to highlight trends and improvement opportunities.
Report on behaviors and issues causing duplication or system gaps to analyze possible fixes. * Identifying and advocating for process improvements within to streamline sales operations.
  • Actively participating in projects aimed at enhancing the efficiency of our sales workflow.
  • Partner with the Sales teams to brainstorm, troubleshoot and diagnose process flow inefficiencies.
  • Contribute to the user acceptance testing (UAT) and address feedback to refine solutions.
  • Create comprehensive written process documents to effectively manage all sales support related processes and initiavtives.
What You\'ll Need to be SuccessfulEducation and Experience:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience working in a Sales/Revenue Operations, with at least 4 years of experience specifically in Salesforce CPQ.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CPQ configuration and customization.
  • Experienced in handling tools like Jira, Confluence, Microsoft 365 etc.
  • Understanding of Salesforce platform features, including Sales Cloud.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce reporting and dashboard creation.
Certifications:
  • Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist certification is a plus.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator certification is a plus.
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Qualifications:
  • Experience in industries such as SaaS, technology, or telecommunications where CPQ solutions are commonly used.
  • Understanding of sales processes and methodologies.
Working Conditions:
  • Ability to work in the odd evening shift i.e. 6pm \xe2\x80\x93 3am from office.
  • Eligible for odd evening shift allowances as applicable.
  • Occasional travel may be required for project meetings and stakeholder engagement.
