The Sales Support Executive is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the sales and business Development team to enhance their effectiveness and efficiency in achieving sales targets. This role involves coordination with various internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of sales activities and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, requests, and complaints via multiple communication channels such as phone, email, and chat.
Provide product information, pricing details, and assistance with order placement and tracking.
Address customer concerns or escalations and ensure timely resolution to maintain customer satisfaction.
Assist sales representatives with the preparation of sales quotations, proposals, and contracts.
Coordinate sales-related activities such as scheduling meetings, appointments, and product demonstrations.
Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, customer interactions, and inventory levels using CRM software.
Manage and organize sales-related documentation, including contracts, agreements, and sales reports.
Assist in the preparation of sales presentations, marketing materials, and promotional campaigns. Coordinate travel arrangements, accommodations, and expense reimbursements for the sales team.
Process sales orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and fulfillment.
Liaise with logistics and warehouse teams to coordinate product shipment, tracking, and delivery schedules.
Generate and analyze sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Assist in evaluating sales strategies, pricing models, and market segmentation based on data insights.
Provide regular updates and insights to sales management regarding sales pipeline, conversions, and revenue targets.
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
Proven experience in sales support, customer service, or administrative roles, preferably in a sales or retail environment.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and data integrity in sales documentation and reporting.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Flexibility and adaptability to evolving business needs and changing priorities.
Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach to resolving issues and addressing customer needs.
Willingness to travel as needed.
