This position reports to

Sales Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities. The work model for the role is: #LI \xe2\x80\x93 onsite This role is contributing to the Process Automation \xe2\x80\x93 Energy Division in India. You will be mainly accountable for: \xe2\x80\xa2 Communicating to the customers about details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB\xe2\x80\x99s offering and strategy. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensuring efficient marketing activities and communicating value propositions to customers. \xe2\x80\xa2 Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market. \xe2\x80\xa2 Being responsible for business and order intake for LBU from identified sub-verticals in the states covered under Cluster West. \xe2\x80\xa2 Being responsible for service orders intake, service business development, annual maintenance contracts, spares, expansion, upgrades, and advanced services sales in identified sub-verticals\' installed base. \xe2\x80\xa2 Establishing relationships with end customers, consultants, EPC, and other market stakeholders. \xe2\x80\xa2 Working with various sub-vertical leads and setting A/C based sales goals based on opportunities and conversions in conjunction with LBU management. Identifying and developing prospective accounts and sales strategies in support of customer objectives. \xe2\x80\xa2 Developing and executing business growth plans in identified sub-verticals/geographies. \xe2\x80\xa2 Collaborating with other product groups and business unit sales personnel to ensure one face to customers. \xe2\x80\xa2 Collecting outstanding payments from identified customers/accounts for invoices.

Qualifications for the role

  • You enjoy working in the Upstream / Downstream / Midstream / Chemicals / Specialty Chemicals / Pharma & Fertilizers markets.
  • You have 7 to 12 years of experience in Automation / Instrumentation Sales.
  • You are passionate about being customer-focused and self-motivated.
  • You have a Diploma / Engineering Degree in any specialization.
  • You are at ease communicating in written and oral English.
