We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Representative to join our team in Chennai. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling a diverse range of products including software applications, website development, IT managed services, electronic equipment, office merchandise, corporate gifts, and food catering services for various events. This is a feet-on-street job, requiring you to actively engage with potential clients and generate sales revenue for the company.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Product Knowledge:
• Understand and stay updated with the features and benefits of all products offered by the company, including software applications, website development, IT managed services, electronic equipment, office merchandise, corporate gifts, and food catering services.
• Clearly communicate product specifications and advantages to potential clients.
• Sales and Business Development:
• Conduct market research, actively approach and engage with prospective clients through cold calling, door-to-door visits, and networking events.
• Create and deliver compelling sales presentations to clients, showcasing the products and services offered by the company.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales strategies and promotional campaigns.
• Client Relationship Management:
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a comprehensive database of clients, contacts, and sales activities.
• Regularly follow up with existing clients to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Reporting and Documentation:
• Prepare and submit timely and accurate sales reports, forecasts, and other documentation as required by the management.
• Keep detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions.
• Product Diversification:
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies related to software applications, IT services, electronic equipment, office merchandise, corporate gifts, and catering services.
• Provide feedback to the product development team based on market demands and client feedback.
Requirements:
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of the local market in Chennai and the ability to identify business opportunities.
• Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and target-driven.
• Willingness to travel extensively within Chennai and nearby areas.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is preferred.
