Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Industrial Lubricants Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting, selling, and supporting the company's range of industrial lubricants to businesses across various industries, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving sales growth. This role involves building strong relationships with existing clients and identifying new sales opportunities to expand market share.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sales and Business Development:
• Generate new business by prospecting, identifying, and engaging potential customers in industries that require industrial lubricants.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
• Maintain regular contact with existing clients to ensure satisfaction, encourage repeat business, and cross-sell additional products.
• Product Knowledge and Presentation:
• Develop a deep understanding of the company's lubricants product line, including technical specifications, benefits, and applications across different industries.
• Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to customers, emphasizing the benefits of using the company's lubricants in their operations.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor products, and market needs.
• Customer Support and Relationship Management:
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding lubricant selection, application, and maintenance.
• Resolve any customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Develop long-term relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing customized solutions.
• Market Research and Reporting:
• Conduct regular market research to identify new opportunities, trends, and potential competitors.
• Report on sales activities, performance metrics, and market developments to management.
• Provide insights and feedback on product performance and customer needs to influence future product development.
• Collaboration and Teamwork:
• Collaborate with the technical and customer service teams to ensure effective delivery of products and services.
• Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote the company's products and network with potential customers.
• Administrative Tasks:
• Maintain accurate records of sales leads, customer contacts, sales orders, and communications in CRM systems.
• Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in sales, preferably within the industrial or lubricants sector.
• Strong knowledge of industrial lubricants and their applications across various industries (e.g., manufacturing, automotive, mining, agriculture, etc.).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
• A degree in business, engineering, chemistry, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned region.
