You will be responsible for discovering and pursuing new sales prospects and maintaining customer satisfaction.A Day in the Life\xc2\xb7 Achieving secondary sales targets month on month ( How- be present in OTs at least 4 times a week, 4 quality sales calls every day, Key account management, key account profiles for top 5 accounts in the respective territory )\xc2\xb7 Achieving Focus product targets \xe2\x80\x93 both quantity and value \xe2\x80\x93 month on month ( How - OT presence- 4times a week, minimum of 4 sales calls per day, collecting data on competitive product usage and types of surgeries performed, product demonstrations, proactive product evaluations )\xc2\xb7 Account Management: Driving sales targets for the assigned Class of Trade (COT)\xc2\xb7 Customer relationship management\xc2\xb7 Recommending and organizing marketing activities\xc2\xb7 Establishing long-term medical-scientific/strategic relationships with Key Opinion Leaders(KOL\xe2\x80\x99s) and with related major medical associations and academic Centers of Excellence (COE\xe2\x80\x99s)\xc2\xb7 Acting as a medical-scientific expert between Covidien and the medical community through the communication of medical-scientific evidence-based data.\xc2\xb7 Organizing CME\xe2\x80\x99s [Continuing Medical Education] and other marketing activities as approved by the marketing team in conjunction with the Regional Managers.\xc2\xb7 Timely reporting of weekly reports and trackers for focus products\xc2\xb7 Provide Coverage, Case support for wound closure portfolio in the assigned Territory.\xc2\xb7 Conduct customer in-services for new and existing accounts.\xc2\xb7 Develop relationships with Surgeons and hospital administration staff to ensure both clinical and non-clinical needs are identified and met.\xc2\xb7 Develop ethical, positive long-term customer relationships.Satisfy customer complaints in accordance with Medtronic policy and to advise Sales Manager promptly of any situation beyond scope of authority.Must Have- Minimum Requirements\xc2\xb7 1-4 years of experience is required\xc2\xb7 Bachelor in Science / BE in Biomedical Engineering\xc2\xb7 PG degree in Business Management is preferred\xc2\xb7 Experience of handling a Concept selling based Therapy\xc2\xb7 Exceptional interpersonal skills.\xc2\xb7 Computer literacy including sound knowledge of the MS Office suite of software.\xc2\xb7 Willing to travel extensively\xc2\xb7 Ideally demonstrated success in a sales function of technical equipmentNice to have:\xc2\xb7 Good verbal communicator and presenter \xe2\x80\x93 Good command over English and Regional language\xc2\xb7 Professional presentation and "Presence"\xc2\xb7 Professional standard of written and verbal communication to sales team and customers\xc2\xb7 Ability to quickly establish credibility with all levels of customer base\xc2\xb7 People and Relationship building Skills including Networking Skills\xc2\xb7 Logical approach & reasoning skills while analyzing competition & market trends.\xc2\xb7 Strong Analytical ability during customer/patient call.\xc2\xb7 Ability to deal with ambiguity & persevere to resolve situation at handPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:The physical demands described within the Responsibilities section of this job description are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
