Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Lead Generation:
- Identify, qualify, and engage potential clients (schools, colleges, universities, corporate training teams, etc.).
- Generate leads through a variety of channels, including cold calls, emails, social media, and networking events.
- Maintain and grow a pipeline of potential clients.
2. Client Engagement and Relationship Management:
- Build and manage strong relationships with educators, administrators, and key decision-makers.
- Conduct product demonstrations (online and in-person).
- Understand customer pain points and provide solutions through our product portfolio.
3. Product Knowledge and Advocacy:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and product features.
- Clearly communicate the value and impact of our EdTech solutions (e.g., learning management systems, e-learning tools, software platforms, digital content, etc.).
4. Sales Strategy and Achievement:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed targets.
- Provide accurate sales forecasting and reports to management.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients.
5. Customer Support:
- Ensure smooth onboarding for new customers and provide ongoing technical or sales support.
- Work closely with the customer success team to maintain high customer satisfaction and retention.
6. Collaboration and Teamwork:
- Partner with the marketing department to execute campaigns and generate leads.
- Collaborate with product and development teams to provide customer feedback and improve offerings.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience: 1-3 years of sales experience, preferably in the EdTech or educational sectors.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Technology (B Tech), Education, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
- Passion for Education and Tech: Understanding and interest in how technology can improve teaching, learning, and corporate training.
- Goal-Oriented: Self-motivated and results-driven with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Travel: Willingness to travel occasionally to meet clients or attend events, depending on the role.
Preferred Skills (Optional):
- Experience working with schools, universities, or corporate learning programs.
- Understanding of Learning Management Systems (LMS), Curriculum Development, or E-learning best practices.
- Multilingual abilities are an asset, especially in roles requiring international client interactions.
