Roles and Responsibilities of a Sales Promotion Officer

Developing Promotional Strategies

Plan and execute promotional campaigns to drive sales. Coordinate with the marketing team to create promotional materials. Identify target audiences and design promotions accordingly.

Market Research and Analysis

Analyze market trends and customer preferences. Conduct competitor analysis to understand their promotional strategies. Gather customer feedback to improve promotions.

Executing Promotional Campaigns

Organize in-store promotions, discounts, and special offers. Manage digital and offline promotional activities. Work with advertising agencies for promotional content.

Sales Support and Coordination

Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets. Train sales representatives on promotional strategies. Ensure effective in-store displays and branding materials.

Managing Events and Sponsorships

Plan and execute promotional events, trade shows, and exhibitions. Coordinate sponsorship deals to enhance brand exposure.

Monitoring and Reporting
