Provide development and strategy on how to increase sales and, by extension, brand awareness while generating new business opportunities in our IT services as a Sales & Marketing Strategist. To succeed, you will require some blend of sales acumen, marketing savvy, and keen insight into the IT industry. Very close collaboration with the leadership team will be the key to developing campaigns that sufficiently promote the services offered, engage potential clients, and thus attract top-line growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Design of the Sales Strategy
• Oversee and build an overall sales strategy to acquire new customers and expand business from current customers.
• Identify target markets, client personas, as well as other emerging sales channels specific to IT services.
• Outline measurable sales goals and key performance indicators; provide regular progress reports.
• Find strategies for generating leads like cold outreach, inbound marketing, or even referrals.
Marketing Strategy
• Design and execute digital marketing campaigns such as SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media to reap maximum visibility and engagement.
• Develop content marketing strategies such as blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, and other forms of communications that demonstrate the value of our IT services.
• Manage the company website and optimize it for conversion leads, capture, and SEO.
• Work with groups dealing with graphic design and content to ensure consistent brand messaging.
Brand Development & Positioning:
• Identify the UVP of the company in the highly competitive market of IT services and ensure effective communication of the same.
• Establish and sustain the firm's brand presence in the digital and traditional marketing arenas.
• Presentations, Proposals, and client-confronted documents coordinated to express our service offerings.
Client Relationship Management:
• Drive and grow relationships with existing clients for repeat business as well as referrals.
Customer Retention Engagement:
• Current customer retention that has an impact on the satisfaction and loyalty levels of clients.
• Establishment of case studies and testimonials about customers that would give a good way of expressing successful engagements and service offering.
Sales Operations & Reporting
• Manage the sales pipeline and CRM system to track leads, opportunities, customer interaction.
• Ensure that based on sales data and market trends, adjustments are made in strategies and fine-tuning of sales processes.
• Engage discussions on performance metrics with the leadership team to calibrate sales and marketing strategies where necessary.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field.
• 3+ years of proven experience in sales and marketing preferably in the IT services/technology-related company.
• Good knowledge of digital marketing practices, such as SEO, content marketing, social media advertising, and email marketing.
• Good understanding of the IT industry as regards to common pains, trends, and solutions provided by various IT service providers.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Self-driven, result-oriented, and independent, but also team player.
• About Ability to analyze market data and customer feedback and adjust strategy as needed.
Desirable Skills:
• Knowledge about lead generation techniques like inbound marketing, paid ads Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads), and retargeting.
• Account-based marketing campaigns building and execution.
• Knowledge of industry-specific compliance standards like GDPR, HIPAA.
• Price setting and strategy for products or services in the IT sector.
