• POSITION OBJECTIVE
• Responsible for leading and executing the Sales and Marketing strategies for the specialty steel trading business. This role involves developing and implementing effective Sales and Marketing plans to achieve revenue targets, expanding market share & enhancing the organization's brand presence in the industry.
• KEY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy and Planning:
• Identify the Product Mix Strategy for different Product lines - BAR, Flat Products, International Business, Wire rods
• Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve sales targets and business objectives across different geographies.
• Identify market opportunities and emerging trends in the specialty steel industry.
• Analyze competitors and market conditions to formulate effective sales strategies to increase the gross profit margin.

Customer Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, suppliers, and Industry stakeholders.
• Understand customer needs and provide customized solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Ensure a high level of customer retention and loyalty.

Marketing and Branding:
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the company's brand and products.
• Coordinate Marketing campaigns, trade shows, and promotional activities.
• Utilize digital marketing channels to enhance online presence.

Market Research and Analysis:
• Conduct Market research to identify new business opportunities and industry trends.
• Analyze customer feedback, market data, and competitor activities to make informed business decisions.

Sales Performance Analysis:
• Monitor and analyze Sales performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of sales strategies.
• Implement corrective actions and improvements as needed.
• Prepare regular reports for Senior management on sales and marketing activities.

Budget Management:
• Develop and manage the Sales and Marketing budget effectively.
• Ensure optimal allocation of resources to maximize ROI.

Team Leadership:
• Lead and motivate the sales and marketing team to achieve individual and team targets.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to enhance the team's skills and performance.
• Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture.
• TEAM MANAGEMENT/LEADERSHIP

• To attract, hire, lead and engage the Team and ensure effective management and achievement of business targets.

• Should be able to train, coach and guide the team in developing the right knowledge, skills and customer orientation.

• To assertively drive and ensure that the team is completely aligned on process discipline and meeting targeted milestones.

• Drive discipline in the team through regular review and feedback mechanisms and a complete grasp over data analytics / MIS for performance measurement.

• QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
Qualifications
Essential
• Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
• Proven experience in sales and marketing leadership roles within the steel trading industry.

Minimum 02-06 years of experience in similar industry
