Job Overview



We are looking for a

Business Development Officer

to drive sales and market expansion across Kerala. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads, developing strategic partnerships, and closing sales. This role involves a mix of field visits and digital outreach to identify and secure new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities



Sales & Lead Generation

: Identify and target potential clients, including homeowners, businesses, and institutions interested in solar energy solutions.

Client Meetings & Presentations

: Conduct meetings with potential customers to present solar solutions and explain the benefits of switching to solar energy.

Market Research

: Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies to develop effective sales plans.

Relationship Management

: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and industry partners.

Proposal & Negotiation

: Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales deals while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Marketing & Outreach

: Participate in promotional activities, exhibitions, and networking events to create brand awareness and generate leads.

Collaboration

: Work closely with the marketing and technical teams to ensure smooth execution of projects.

Reporting & Analysis

: Maintain accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and business growth, and provide regular reports to the management.

Qualifications & Skills



Education

: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.

Experience

: 2-5 years of experience in sales, business development, or marketing,

Skills Required

: Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to generate leads and close deals. Good knowledge of sales strategies and market research. Self-motivated and goal-oriented approach.

Language

: Proficiency in English and Malayalam.

Location

: Must be willing to travel within your assigned location for customer meetings and business development activities.

Preferred

: Experience in the solar energy or sustainability sector.
