We are looking for a Sales Manager to help drive our startup's sales efforts across both online and offline channels. This role is ideal for an energetic individual with a passion for beauty and cosmetics, an entrepreneurial mindset, and experience in sales. The Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving sales targets, building relationships with customers and retailers/Distributors, and ensuring the Akara brand achieves a strong market presence. This position includes a base salary with an attractive incentive structure tied to target achievement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Target Achievement: Drive sales growth by meeting and exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets across designated areas and channels.
2. Market Development: Identify potential market opportunities and build brand presence through product promotions and campaigns to boost customer engagement and increase sales.
3. Retailer/Distributor Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers and distributors, supporting them with necessary sales materials, training, and product information.
4. Customer Engagement: Engage with customers directly through retailers and distributors (offline), gather feedback, and respond to inquiries, creating a positive experience and fostering loyalty.
5. Incentive-Driven Performance: Work with a target-driven approach and leverage the incentive structure to maximize sales and increase personal earnings.
6. Reporting and Analysis: Maintain and analyze weekly and monthly sales reports, tracking performance metrics and providing insights to the management team to guide future strategies.
7. Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to develop effective sales strategies and ensure alignment with the brand's positioning and goals.
8. Brand Representation: Act as a brand ambassador for Akara Cosmetics, ensuring that all interactions with clients and partners reflect the company's core values of quality, inclusivity, and innovation.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in sales, preferably within the beauty or cosmetics industry. Prior experience in a startup or a target-driven sales role is an advantage.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with customers, retailers, and team members.
Target Orientation: Strong ability to work towards and achieve set sales targets, with motivation to earn incentives.
Customer-Centric Approach: Passion for customer service with the ability to build rapport and create positive experiences.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze sales data and provide actionable insights.
