Summary/objective

Builds customer relationships by visiting customer locations to promote the organization with an emphasis on gaining additional Parts and Service business by identifying customer's needs, communicating, and delivering the parts or service solution to the customer.

Essential functions

Provides value to our customers and cultivates positive relationships by selling Parts and Service solutions that meet their specific needs. Supports all product lines carried by the organization

Looks for opportunities to grow branch sales through increased business with existing customers, new customers, and owners of competitive equipment.

Promptly follows up with customers and delivers sound advice to help their organization.

Fills out call reports after visits and profiles customer's fleet of equipment using in house ERP.

Communicates customer concerns to the appropriate manager at HO.

Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to build and maintain rapport with key accounts.

Self-reliant and able to work independently; Maintains high levels of motivation with minimal supervision.

Work environment

This position is resident based. Will require visit to customers' office, sites as required.

Travel required

Depending on territory, travel will be required at least weekly 3-4 times.

Required education and experience

Graduate Engineer.

Ability to use standard computer applications such as Microsoft Office and Google Docs.

Candidate with ability to use OEM diagnostic and parts catalogue will be given preference.

Must have information of potential customer base in the assigned territory.

Preferred education and experience

5-8years of Parts or Sales experience, should have working experience in the field of heavy earthmoving machines. ( CAT / Komatsu / Volvo)
