Main purpose
The Sales/Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and achieving revenue targets. This role involves strategic planning, sales forecasting, market analysis, and collaboration with various internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and competition. Analyze market data to develop sales strategies and identify growth opportunities.
Prospecting and Lead Generation:
Identify and qualify leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and online research.
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients.
Sales Strategy Development:
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
Create sales plans and forecasts, setting achievable goals and objectives.
Client Relationship Management:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
Provide exceptional customer service and address client concerns or inquiries.
Proposal and Presentation:
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients.
Develop and present proposals tailored to the client's needs and objectives.
Negotiation and Closing:
Negotiate terms and pricing with clients to secure profitable contracts.
Close deals and secure new business opportunities.
Sales Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a cohesive approach to achieving sales goals.
Provide guidance and support to team members, sharing best practices and strategies.
Reporting and Analytics:
Monitor and analyze sales performance and key metrics.
Prepare regular reports and presentations for management.
Market Expansion:
Explore and assess opportunities for expanding the company's market presence, including new geographies and industries.
Budget Management:
Manage and allocate resources effectively to achieve sales targets within budget constraints.
Additional Information:
This position may occasional travel.
